Cultural angas

medyo mayroon talagang pagkakaiba on how people interact with each other dito
and dyan sa pinas. i've talked about how people greet each other when they happen to pass each other up.

a lot of the times, and this happens to younger people, mayroong certain angas front pagkamakakasalubong mo sila. maybe because it's a defensive stance on minority perception (or other people call this as reverse discrimination). Ayun bang sa sobrang cautios sa discrimination eh they don't realize that they are somehow isolating themselves and the unwillingness to reach out somehow discriminate other people from reaching out to them. the effect normally is that nakataas ang mga nuo at nagpapakitang astig sila. sa pinas, tawag dito eh mga kulang sa gulping mga kabataan. dito, semi-acceptable. siguro na rin dahil magagaling silang magingglis.

and another caveat when intersecting with other people eh is not to stare at them. no benchmark, pero i guess around 3 seconds is already staring. ilang beses na kong muntik mapahamak dito. like the other day nuong bumili ng frosters sa mac's eh napatinging sa makakasalubong ko (kasi kalbo), hayun, pagkalabas kalbo nga at ang laking puti. pucha kung naka fire na t-shirt iyun eh baka napasigaw pa ko ng bambam bigeleow.
